They both look like home built to me and there is nothing wrong with that. I would pick the black one, the Corvair motor is a dinosaur and parts would be a pain to find. With the black car you could make it into anything you want. Besides, it looks like it has some attitude. Also looks like a swing axle, that would need to be changed if it is. IMO

The rear torshion and trailing arms are from a bus... Also has rear disk brakes. It looks nice.. This guy was really picky with his work... It shows. He swares the bus trailing arms are pretty strong. The trans is from same donor buss it's a 3 rib... Super clean.

Thanks for your thoughts...

Black one! It's got hydraulic pedals, looks like new ball joints tie rods, new shocks and it's got a bus tranny new gas tank, looks clean and new.looks like a crank in the box so it's probably got rebuildable motor with it.never the less you'd be buying or building an engine anyways with the corvair buggy.only thing I'd do to it I see is for sure add a windshield support brace before you ride it.you put that on it's top hard and you got a broke neck.Chad

you can by parts for the corvair at NAPA or KOI there is also a place called Clark's Corvair that would have anything that you need for it.

The bus arms are very week .You can beef them up also the bus tortion is very stiff we took the tortion bars out and turned them down to 24mm it helped a lot

Thanks guys... I did pick up the black one, and a 2175 to bolt into it... The rail came with a lot of nice parts, including some CB 044 heads new piston and jugs and 110 cam brand new crank... lots of parts to build a 1641... I think I will keep the heads as spares and sell the rest... lots of work to get tis buggy together... will start as soon as the weather will allow... Going to have lots of questions PO was a fabricator so I may need to rework some things or might just put it to the test.

thanks agn for your thoughts.
