| Post subject: | Pitman Arm Confusion |
I am looking to buy a new chrome Pitman arm for the buggy that I'm building. 1970 balljoint front end with 1970 steering gearbox. Do I need the large shaft & small tie rod holes, the small shaft & small tie rod holes, or the small shaft & large tie rod holes????? |

I think the one with the large holes is for use with the ford/international tie rod ends but Im not sure. |

The spline that slides over the steering box shaft has been the same since about 1961 or so. The tie rods holes were smaller in the king/link pin and early ball joint era. The later ball joint had a larger tie rod hole. |
