Ok I have a set of home made 3x3 trailing arms that came with a buggy I bought a while back. They weren't on the buggy at the time and it is still in project status so I never really looked them over very good. Well I pulled them out the other day to put them on the wife's buggy and noticed several things that I don't like, such as broken bolts, ugly welds, and poor shock mounts. I guess I said all of that to ask would it be worth the hassle to cut out the old rear wheel bearing housings and install new ones? I know the shock mounts are no big deal so if were just that I wouldn't be worried about it. I know I can get a new bolt in bearing housings or just weld another one in place of the old ones.

wouldnt it be easier to take the broken bolts out than change carriers?

well I've tried everything to remove the bolts but they are not moving. Also on one of the carriers the bolt hole has a large crack that runs the length of the threads, I think I left this out.

well depending on what arms you all rdy have on her buggy but if they stock i say its worth it if you have 2x3's on it or something then leave it as is
