Im looking into some corbeau baja ss seats and wonder if I should get all vinyl.or the cloth with vinyl? I know cloth will soak up water faster, but wont it always dry faster?

Get vinyl and put bees wax on all the threads that will keep the water out.....

Cloth is much more comfortable, isn't that the reason we get suspension seats?

I’ve run both and like the cloth better. The cloth dries faster and doesn’t burn your ass after sitting in the sun.

We've got vinyl in the buggy but never had any problem with the alacantra seats in the 4wd's. So long as you clean and treat them occasionally they're fine, prefer them over the vinyl.

I have cloth they dry pretty fast. No need to get them very wet. take a scrub brush with water and soap on it and scrub the seat then take a wet rag and wipe them off.

Well I tend to get drowned from time to time,a little beer a lot of gas,or vise versa whatever point being I have race trim vinyl,I carry extra clothes anyway but I can wipe my seat out and take a rag and it's pretty much dry.I took bees wax and coated the threads real good while they were new and water will stand in them.but also I'm a lard ass and pretty much fill the seat up good anyways, lol.but you can't wipe a cloth seat out and dry it.and I do a lot of late night riding and the dew alone will soak a cloth seat.but with the right clothes you can ride anything.Chad

I had vinyl in mine for a year and hated them,it would take weeks to dry with fans blowing on them 24-7,,sold them and got cloth when they get wet riding the sun drys them ,,when I wash them I take the shop vac and it sucks about all water out(you cant do that to vinyl) and fan over nite there dry! now for the comfy part vinyl always hot in summer cold in winter, cloth is cooler in summer warmer in winter,,as far as getting them dirty its a buggy lol but I did stain gard them a couple times,,just my opinion

I have race trim vinyl. I like being ble to wipe them out, quick and easy. I wash my buggy soaking the seat and just wipe it out. I don't feel like it stay too wet.

I have the Race Trim seats. When they look dry, they arn't. Little hi-jack, would putting a tarp grommet in the middle of the blader help? 2 weeks after a wash I tilted a seat forward and a lot water drained out.

When I had the vinyl in mine I took a soldier iron and burnt a 1/2 doz "drain holes" in the bottom hammock part and it did help drain the water but it didnt seem to speed up the drying time much imo

Cloth works for mine. I have vinyl covers to go over them for the ride on the trailer. They never seem to get wet from ridding, just from rain when I am not in the seat.
