I am not looking for a debate, I know many people do not like U-Joints and there are lots of posts about the pros and cons of both. My question is simple, has anyone actually tried these drive shafts from sandstuff.com. If so, how did they work? I know they are crazy expensive but here are some of the things I like: - I like the shear bolts to protect the transmission - I like the idea of running 24 deg with a max of 36 deg Thanks |

I had a buggy a few years ago I got it fix up and sell that had U-joints axles. I think they were homemade but looked alot like the ones your looking at I would say it was running around 25-30* with what i was told 4x5 arms but i ran the snot out of it when i got it running on and off road and it was on the back wheels ALOT and I never had a probem with them seem to work really well. |

Thanks for the input. I believe Scott (I think that was his name) from Drews had some on his buggy. |

Without arguing about the u-joint axles, if you have your suspension set-up correctly, you will never break a 930 cv joint other than if you wear it out (years and years) or 400+ hp might do it |

After spending a few hours reading the carnage on the Glamis website, I have decided to stay with my CV joints. thanks |
