I am in the process of swapping my VW motor for a Subaru EJ22 and I was wondering if I need to adjust my torsion bars. I really like the way they are set right now with the VW motor but I am thinking about raising them one spline to account for the extra weight of the new Engine?

Will one spline be enough?

Thanks
Dan

I would try it like it is . If you extend the trailing arms you will need to adjust but it may be OK like it is. Put a 6 year old on the top of your VW engine and see how much it droops
