Based on your personal experiences What are the pros and cons of Boggers and "V" theads IE; trail riding hook up, hill climbing, stability , control, Mud versuse dry, hard and soft terrain etc.

WOW! Here,s goes another 40 pager. You need 3 groups. Boggers,V treads,and then Firestones. You can't throw firestones in with the v treads.To make the long story short,there is nothing that climbs as good as or better than cut firestones unless you stud them. The only disadvantage is they only come in 31. You can get boggers in any size so you can change your gear around a little bit and have more clearance.If you have enough HP to pull your rail up a hill at 6000 rpm's then you can run a 31" tire and still have enough gear.IMO

Well put, Mike. That about sums it up.

There is definately a huge difference in just any old V tread and a cut 23* Firestone. Cutting them right is key, even 4 ply Firestones if uncut pretty much suck for climbing.

Well the Denman Ditchdiggers are about the best V-Treads i have ever seen in action. They have a steeper angle than the firestone and a bigger cleat. they are also almost 32's.

Uncut firestones SUCK period. They go in mud about as good as slicks.

Cut firestones do great. Any cut V-tread does good IMO. I was running the 29 inch goodyear v-treads and cut the crap outta them and they do great. even better in the mud because they are a skinny tire and they dig down better.

Boggers are an awesome tire. Nothing looks meaner than a cut bogger.

You are going to get more forward bite with the vtreads because they are V'd haha. The boggers will digg better in softer conditions because of the straight cleats. More acceleration with the V-treads more digging with boggers.

So basically run whatever the hell ya want but i like the denmans. heres a pic.

Can someone point me in the right direction to finding a set of them aluminum beadlock wheels.I've searched ebay and other places and cant find any used.Somebody help a man out.

how wide and how much backspacing

i know where there is a set with 3 inch backspacing 14 inches wide. 125.00 for the set aluminum oval wide 5.

Try searching for MRracing on Ebay. They have a store on Ebay. I've bought two sets from them. $100ea + about $15 shipping. A little bit of racing gouges on them, but not bent or warped.

MRracing is still on ebay however they dont have any rims right now. You have to go in the store index and do a search to find them.

I agree 100%, however, if you want taller gearing, then I can build your trans anyway you need it!

I run the Weld 15x14 with 5" backspacing "Wide 5 XL's" beadlocks on the VW 4-lug to wide 5 homemade billet aluminum adaptors with 33x14.00x15 cut-boggers and a set Mickey Thompsons racing tubes designed to fit the specific size wheel and tires that I am running, they work pretty good all-around on 3-5 psi of air in them, I used to have a set of Firestone 23's, the boggers seemed to do a better job IMO. I got the wheels from Poske's Racing Shop in wheeling, WV, they have a website.......
