Snow on Four Peaks. While this might be boring to you I have stayed away from snow for the last 30 years. We got a call to get two 4x4s unstuck. I cut down some 18 wheel chains to fit the truck and we never missed a beat. It is Lincoln locked front and rear and in the snow it made for interesting turning. This was two Fridays ago now it is all melted.

It is not rare for it to snow there. The mountain rises to over 8000 feet but is surrounded on the south side by desert at around 2000 ft so it most of the time melts off within a couple of weeks. Once you get 50 to 100 miles to the north it is all mountains and the snow stays on the ground. I live at 1800 ft so all we see is an occasional flurry. Once you go to 2800 ft it snows an inch or so about two or three times during the winter. My neighbor lived up north also has a friend named Stihl with a 36" reach. It has quite an exhaust note.

Perri if I recall it was a bit warmer when I was there in August, lol. Burnt my arm on the side of my rental while driving 80 mph down the highway, thought the wind would cool it some.
