Post subject:  Toyota recovery

This was yesterdays recovery. A very nice straight axle, Martin 2 speed transfer case locked front and rear V6 1993 Toyota was pulled down a hill bover 300 ft. while winching up a rail. It took 7 weeks for the insurance to decide to pay someone else to recover it and by then the winch, two tires, stero, cb, battery, air tank and front shocks were gone. The other company hired us to "go with them to get it". :? It is over 300 feet from the Toyo to Joes truck anchored to a tree.

We used starter fluid to reseat the beads and a high lift jack to raise the roof. Here we are using the winch to pull up the side up to change tires. :D But the other company was supposed to get a set of 37" tires and they brought 235 75 15?/// There went the plan for using 4wd.

It was Roberts first ride in a rail so I took it easy on him 14 miles in 35 minutes. :) We got there and jacked the roof up and got it running.
