Welcome to W/B so show us some pics of how you all roll. I like seeing how buggies differ from other countries. |

I wonder if there is a suby tranny strong enough for our abuse to run midship, even with babychains,,,,and would it make the weight bias too far off |

Welcome Felixpower!! Those subies kick ass in that stuff, I'm sure they know if stock wrx trannies can take it, or if they have to put money into them.

From the guys I have talked to the suby trans will handle plenty of HP (500) and you can buy gears for them$$$ |

I'm only using a ea82 subi motor about 80 hp so i don't think i will blow the box. They put 31' tyre's on sports wagons the motor came out off and they don't have any trouble with gear boxes. MY gearbox is a high low range box wih a 4.11/1 diff |

I ran an ea81 for several years,,,my Dad still has it in a street bug. I seated the rings by forgetting to add water after a rebuild . It is a tough engine. I was mated to a VW tranny. Can you add some pics? |
