So whats the common practice on attaching this stuff? Leaning towards Colored Duct tape. Let me know if you got better ideas. Not that mines hard to beat.

tyraps and duct tape (the thin stuff) works good for me. i usually snip the tyrap then heat up a screwdriver tip and melt the stub then apply the tape.

Zip-tie it but turn the zip-tie around backwards, pull tight , add cut off excess. the sharp end will asorb into the pad and then it won't cut you. or tell the tool truck to order you some flush cuts and they trim really close and the end won't cut you. That's my .02 :D :D :D

Slick idea, that's a keeper.

zipp tie but also use them on the in side of the pad. on the bar pull it tight cut it diagonally with about a 1/4 inch sticking up. keeps the pad from spinning. :D

I use electrical tape and it works fine. The padding does not move. I see no need for Tie wraps.

Go to a fabric store and pick up some vinyl in the color you like. Measure the circumference of your padding and add the circumference of the tube plus one inch. Cut the vinyl to this width. Fold the vinyl in half length wise with the unfinished side out. Sew a seam ½ inch from the edge to form a tube. Cut the length 12 inches longer than the padding. Turn the tube of vinyl color side out and slide it over your padding leaving 6 inches of vinyl on each end of the padding, tuck the extra 6 inches on both ends into the end of the padding (make sure the length seam gets tucked into the inside of the padding where the roll bar goes.) Put it on the roll bar and secure with a couple of zip ties. These covers will last for years and protect the padding, also helps keep you’re a$$ from getting wet climbing over a soggy pad.

This has always worked great for me. Every once in a while, I will even run a "New" layer of tape just to give it a clean look.

Yea they do need a new layer from time to time. There are some Wellsville trails that have a lot of Brior that rip the tape.
