Backed the ol 4x4 Dodge into the river to help pull a young guy out. The air intake hose goes into the fender for air. We'll I spun the tires and the intake gulped a little bit of water and blew a head gasket and bent a piston rod. These trash cans over dual carbs could act like a catcher's mit and do the same thing. Whatever you have or drive , handle your business.Water sitting in your wheel bearings is bad too.Seal them good or you will just trap water OR I have good luck with no cap at all on the front to let the water out. |
