Yea there is no dought the SxS cages are junk in comparason to most Buggy cages. I say most because even the stronger Buggy cages collaspe especially the front loop style. The Cage on my Commander appears to be much stronger then the RZR. The tubing is 2" OD and and is built similar to a Buggy without the indent on the side rails like the RZR. |

I'm guessing he exceeded the design limitations of the cage. (Read) something he shouldn't have been doing |

here is his quote of what happened Quote: It wasn't a pleasant ride for sure.
There were 3 rolling jumps in a row. They are small and there in the trail just to slow people down. I guess they worked. I hit them too fast or not fast enough and the front cleared the last and the rear didn't. |

looks like some really thin wall tubing by the way it snapped and creased. in this case i dont think bracing would even help. needs to be gutted and start fresh but if the cage is that thin i would suppose the rest wouldnt be worth welding a good cage too. |

exactly why i own, drive, and stand by a rail buggy 100% in my opinion ,the safest thing to ride in the woods |

Man that looks bad there is a place somewhere in tennesse i think that lowers the seats down further and they make a new roll cage thats lower and stronger. Thats deffinetly one thing i would have to change. |

Well all the rotors and cv's and that stuff i wouldnt want to replace. Honestly i would want a new one with a straight frame then build it a completly new cage b4 riding. davehix wrote: Why would you want them too...

Thats why you carry full coverage on the UTVs. This unit is a total and I would turn it in to my Insyurance Co to replace it. Then buy it back for the spare parts that are left and scrap the rest. |
