im working on order parts for a 2110 90.5x82

i know i need B piston, but how much does the crank pin move from A piston to B piston?

rods what do i need to order? i was reading that i needed longer then stock i was going to use CB 5.4

On heads i not going to have money for porting right now so im looking for the best head right out of the box around 500.
so "HP Big Valve" by A.J.Sims Heads or CB O44 heads both will have 40x35

also any info input is welcome

b-pistons are for 82 stroke & stock rods . You may need a small shim to get .040 to .060 deck . stock rods are 5.394 . 86 mm crank is same $ as 82mm & why the 90.5 cylinder . I can see runing 90.5 on the street but not in the woods or racing .For heads i like cb 044 magnum plus 42x37 stainles valves & dual valve springs + lots of room for porting or bugpack S/E .Give me a call 812 584 7644

why would you not run a 90.5 in the woods? I will be on the street 80% of the time just wanted to know. also my case will not ship till fri so i can still change to a 94 will it last as long as the 90.5 would between rebuilds also im running a 3 rib right now i would like to not break it but im looking for a 5 or 6 rib when i get the motor done and get money back up

You can biud 90.5 x 86 . will 94 last as long as 90.5 I do not no . I have a 94 x 78.5 engine that is 10 years old & runs fin but its been 95% woods 5% street . For the $$ 94mm will make more HP & TQ . call me I hate tipeing.

Over a period of time I've got a 2276 to gether. Just got it running a week or so ago. Did the cam break in and have had 3 short rides, (still tweeking and fixing issues). I'm running modified Kadrons for carbs, which are n't even tuned yet and it goes like a raped ape! I had the rotating parts balanced and have read or heard that the engine build should be good for about 50,000 miles, (probably a street rating). I know that milelage will get tossed around by others, but that should take a few years of off road mileage befor a rebuild may be needed. Maintanance is on going and if kept up, longer survival time on the engine, also how you run it. But, go big or go home is the motto. If done right, you won't regret it and we'll never get that dumb ass grin off your face again! Just my $0.02 worth. Good luck. Dave W.
Also, A & B pistons, don't remember the spec's but I think It's a 78 that's max for an A piston, (if that's whats on the 69mm). It has been over several years for my build, A little hear a little there, so I'm not fresh on the info. However the 94mm pistons matched for the 82 mm stroke, put the wrist pin about 1/8: from the oil ring. No where near what the stock 69's look like.

Congrats one your 2276 V8 eater. Steve Tims Stage Two heads are around $750 which includes porting your intakes, setting valve spring pressure etc. An Engle W 125 or FK 8 cam should put you in the 180-200 hp range.
