Spring loaded tubes dont seal well & a small stick can dislodge one. I like stock crush tubes or double jam nut tubes myself. Those take a beating. |

I have use the crush-type ones and the spring-loaded ones, to me, it seems like the spring loaded ones does a better job than the crush ones, I think the crush-type ones will not expand and retract with the engine, the spring-loaded ones will, the brand that I am using are Jaycee ones and they have a larger bore and double o-rings and they run around $90 for a set, I was constantly having oil leaks from the crush tubes and have to keep turning the tubes to seat them in better, so I went away with them and got the Jaycee ones, you don't want to run the plastic tubes, they are JUNK and they will break too easy from what I heard. The Jaycee are very nice heavy-duty aluminum tubes and you can get them in almost any color anodized. This is my $0.02, maybe it does better or not, maybe I'm just lucky |
