Post subject:  dual kadrons carbs need help.
Ok so i asked this same question a few months ago i am having a problem with them wanting to die out when i am climbing steep inclines. it will stay running while climbing but loses a lot of its power and if it dose stall out it is very hard to restart. I am running a 1915, dual port heads, 1.1 rockers. 009 distributed with electronic ignition, MSD 6AL box, MSD blaster 2 coil, VZ-15 cam. I got the kadrons carbs used from a friend they ran great on his 1915 so i don't know what the problem is. the only differences in his and mine are the cam and compression my cam is bigger and i have higher compression 10:1 and the 6AL witch made a noticeable difference in power and made it idle better.

Is there anyone in the nky area that would be able to help me tune these carbs to my motor.

got a few more questions,how are you delivering your fuel stock pump or electric,how is it filtered and are they directional filters,sounds like you are not getting enough fuel at to run it wide open for a long priod of time.what size kadrons are they.it could be a few things as in not enough fuel pressure,line supply is blocked a little,an inline filter on backwards,floats in carb sticking and not allowing enough fuel in,did the carbs set for awhile before you put them on.im just throwing things out thereto look at.what carb was you running before you put these on and have you changed anything other than just the carbs and ignition.i have had this happen before and its best to start at the tank and work your way to the carbs, i had a piece of rust in my valve on the bottom of my tank one time and it was not allowing enough fuel pass and i just kept over looking it until a buddy was standing on the hill and seen my glass filter empty and pulled the line off and run a wire through it and got it out,so make sure your getting the fuel before start tearing into the carbs i guess is my point may be just a simple fix.chad :mrgreen:

stock pump and 3 in line filters witch are directional one on the fuel line to the pump and one on each side of the t where it splits off to each carb i put new filters on today. not sure on the carb size what is the easiest way to tell. never ran another carb on the buggy bought these a week after i got it and they went straight on as soon as i got them home. they came off his buggy when i went to get them so they never sat around he sold them to put weber 44 's on his.

I took it out for a short ride today and it seemed to run much better with the 6-AL it was the first ride with it on there night and day difference. that makes me think it is or was flooding out on climbs but i can not tell if the problem is fixed there are no hills big enough around me to tell if it still wants to cut out or not.
