just got my carbs done and my intakes welded up, rebuilt the weber 40s and no when i rev it up, it revs up but it takes a few to drop back down to idle, but they r running great and it was the best money i ever spent was a little worried about the bull shit that comes along with them but it just opened a new world up for my motor, so my problem is that is after reving it up it takes a couple for it to drop back down to its idle :? :?

i had the same problem with my linkage, check your linkage cross shaft end play to make sure you have plenty of side to side movement, if thats good maybe add another return spring
