alot of that will depend on what kinda riding your going to be doing, carbs and cam your running.ive heard good and bad things about these heads, but the mofoco heads my buddy runs have never had a problem and he has the 042 and the 050 heads.those 050's maybe just a little much for that 1915 for lugging around the woods imo.chad

on the 050s check the valves where the keeper go and check the guides to make sure their tight in the casting just send a set back to mofoco to get fixed for these problems

For heavy tires and a single carb stepping down a cam size to a VZ 14 cam or FK 41 cam makes a big difference. What bugs me about Roys 050s is he won't post the flow and air speed specs on them but claims they flow the best of any unported similar head. You might want to check out Steve Tims Stage One heads at performance-workshop.com. They are priced right at $590 and he will set up the valve springs for your cam and port match your intakes for that price. You should be able to pay a little more and get the head volume set to run .050 deck. Along with the Stage One heads you could also slip in a 78 mm crank and keep the 110 cam.

If you use CB Unitech or Scat I beams you should not need to. Stroker clearanced stock rods require lots of case clearancing and checking rod to piston clearance, as the piston is at BDC the opposing rod can tap it wiping out a rod bearing. If you get the crank built with Buick Journals and use H Beam rods there will be room to spare. Every once in a while something is off so I always check to make sure there is .040 cleaerance. You will need stroker pistons. Keeping it a 1915 is simpler to build.

You can bolt a deck hieght tool over a cylinder and use feeler guages or a dial indicator to measure the distance from the top of the piston to the top of the cylinder when the piston is at TDC.
