how old was the motor? if it was rather fresh, I'd contact the manufacturer of your camshaft and see if you can't get some kind of compensation, because if it wasn't old and you werent beating the tar completely out of it, chances are the camshaft was made of inferior steel, and they may help you out... |

what if everytime a properly installed part broke to easy the company in question got mentioned?whould they step-up?thinking to myself if i made it i would follow up with all problems after the sale.i buy from other peoples success in combinations.if it"s my fault i say so,broke many good parts from not measuring good enough myself and holeshots killed the others.sick to see anybody have costly damage, working on a turbo project and hope i"m not next.richard |

Very sorry to hear of your bad luck. But Ran MILD.....and it broke at 8200 rpm?? Nothing mild about 8200 rpm! In your defense, it still SHOULD stand 8200 for brief bursts of a few seconds under a load. $200 cam, I 'd be callin them ol' boys. Why so high? Was it a custom grind? |

I would for sure call the guy from the cam. If the cam broke where did it break? show a picture of it if you can. $200 for the cam. I think they gouged you a little. |
