Check rocker movement on the back two cyl. Maybe a lobe on the cam is flat since they share cam lobes.

what kind of ignition are you running? when i was running the 09 distributor, i was kind of having the same problem, it turned out the ignition wasnt hot enough to burn all of the fuel. you might want to try a little hotter coil, see if that would help.

O.K. i found it say i'm crazy but ..... finally had time to set down and do something so i had valve cover off driver side all the rockers was moving equally that why i said no flat lobes.none loose so i reset them and move to pass side . when i pulled the cover off i noticed no.1 exhaust rocker was backed off(IN A HURRY MUST HAVE FORGOT TO TIGHTEN DOWN)   so i reset it and started it up and it sounded great again. but now gotta set carb again. i'm running a 2276 , cb 044 40x35 fk-8 10.5 to 1 compression and a 500 holley it runs great!!! im use to a 1641 soooo. lol . so anyway i would have never imagined a backed off rocker could cause so much headache. god im glad i could nt go back to a 1641.   THANK GUYS

I had a Johnnys 4-play intake on my old buggy with a 650 Holley and it did not do anygood luck for me, I even tried Edlebrocks and still no luck, It was loading up everytime I go up a hill whether u get into it or just riding around. It works great on level ground and takes off like a scaled dog. I have been through all of the float adjustments and jettings to make it work, no good, I rather stick with my dual webers for now  That is good to hear that you got her running good though.

A guy I ride with has several of those 2 brrl carbs sitting around off there dirt car and we were wanting to try one since they are just sitting there .We thought about just running the 2 to 4 brrl adapter on a 4-play manifold But I would like to see a picture of the one you made .
