I am gettin ready to redo my engine and take it up to a 1915 but I dont have the cash for a set of webbers.But I do have a good 4bbl holley(not sure on cfm atm) and a good 500holly 2bbl. Is there any way to use one of them. I dont mind fabbin parts up eather.

the 2 barrel will work better than the 4,or get u a progressive off of a 2.0 or 2.3 ford motor

The Holley 2 bbl or a Weber IDA might be the best choices as they can be adapted for bouncing around off road.

i got a freind that runs a 500 holley like this one on a 2276. i run this motor on my buggy 4th weekend and it run great did not mess up at all.

We had a Quadrajet off a 350 cheby on a buddys 2l type4 buggy and afte some minor adjustment it ran great,,,so yes if you have the time and knowledge about any carb will work but theres limits to everything,you just have to step out of the box!

I run a 2 barrel and it has worked fine for me. The thing that I notice about the 2barrel setup is that you lose throttle response due to the long length of the intake runners. It isn't laggy or anything, just not as crisp as a well tuned dual setup. :)
