what does yalls oil pressure run ? I have never run a gauge just an idiot light but I put one on the new buggy after riding an hour or so and the engine is good and hot it will read about 18- 20lb idling around a trail and about 45lbs in the gas . |

That is about the same for me, I run a gauge and a light, I use a stock oil pressure switch for the VW engine, they are about 5 bucks at a parts store, it could be the best $5 spent on insurance for your motor, it is always better to see what's going on there with 2 things that monitor the engine than just one. |

You have good oil pressure. 10 psi per 1000 RPMs is good. |

My dry sump will run around 30-35 at idle and 20-25 after it warms up at idle. 55-65 Full noise. |
