My buddy gave me a new CNC throttle pedal it already has the stop built into it i love this pedal only problem I'm having is how do you hook your cable up to it i believe it has three small threaded holes on the side of the little plate that keeps your foot from slipping off I know this is a stupid question but I'm just new to all this and want to do it right the frist time thanks! oh yeah I just got the small garage cable so i dont have any hooks on either end |

You will need something like this........http://www.pacificcustoms.com/mm5/merch ... ange_high= But it is for the type cable that has threads on the ends of them that I am running and it works great. Here is the cable.......http://www.pacificcustoms.com/mm5/merch ... ange_high= You can get these cables custom lengths, you will see the different ones they have in stock. |

Or you can drill out one of the little holes a bit bigger and put an eyehook from the hdwre store thru it and put a nut on the back of it. Then run your cable thru the eyehook, loop it back on itself and use two or three little cable clamps to secure it. |

i use the empi heavy duty cable with the plastic tubing for a housing it has a great end on it all you need is a bolt and a couple of nuts to hook it up |

I used a roll door cable and run it thru some 3/8 air line It works real well but I work in a truck shop and had all this just lying around .I had to drill the hole in the pedal out to 1/4" /img]

I love the pedal and that is a bushing that is made in the cable. I think a home garage door has the same basic cable and if so you can get them at lowes or any hard ware store . I mark the length I need at the carb linkage and cut it into with a welder turned up hot and it welds all the little braids together and it wont unravel over time |

looks like you used the aluminum clamp those has the two holes in it and you have to use a special pair or plairs to crimp them on there i was thinking of doing that i use them on my homemade treestand and was guessing if it was strong enough to hold my fat butt on a tree it should work fine for a throttle cable thanks for all the replies |
