This is what I had made to keep crap out of my carbs. I am going to run a tube to an airbox tucked away from the mud. Hope it works. Dean

Your welds look pretty good on those. Nice job. I want to do the same thing on my car sometime. I would like to have a single canister type air filter and run hoses to each carburetor. |

No I will not have filters in them. there will be a canister filter with tubing running to the carbs. Hopefully this will keep the grime out of the carbs. I should have the filter monday. I post a pic. |

We are useing a UMB airbox and filter. I was going to scroung an airbox out of a tractor in a tractor junkyard. I saw one on a old Oliver that looked like it would work. Then suddenly I realized that I was in a tractor junk yard and getting ready to put Oliver combine parts on my buggy. Then I ran out of there and ordered a new aluminium one. Not sure what I was thinking. Dean |
