I have a 2276 with dual dell 45's and i was wondering how do you determine what the spark plug gap is? I set mine to 25 I was told the smaller the gap, the hotter it is, is this true? Also, what brand is a good brand? I have been running NGK's any input would be appreciated.

The spark plug gap is based on the compression ratio of the motor, the octane of the fuel, the type of plug and the energy of your ignition system.

Do you run 14mm or 12mm plugs? I run 12mm plugs and used to run Denso Iridium IX27's and switched to Champions and notice a difference in performance (cheaper plugs=more power) I done some homework myself and it works for me. Denso are good plugs too, but I figured if I try to change plugs just for the heck of it and to see if there are any difference in performance because I was trying to tune in the engine and I guess I found my problem by accident, so I ran Champions since. There are other people that are running them too and they say they are better ones. Just my two cents.
