just had a 1915cc built but its not ideling right and when i take off it hesitates a little what is more likely gonna be my problem any and all help and info is appreciated. Phillip Peppers |

are the chokes still in the carb.?sounds like u could have a vaccum leak somewhere,intake gasket or rubber boots leaking a little |

You mite have a intake gasket or boot leaking, or a idle jet plugged. Most every progressive iv worked on the pim. and sec. jet was to small dont know what size to use I jest use a torch tip dill set and open them up if you go to big you can solider it closed and start over. Or buy bigger jets. Also the smaller air bleed the richer it will be. Not for sure this is your prob. but it sounds like it. |

If it is a new intake, most are too long and bottom out in the end castings and will not allow them to seat on the heads properly. Remove any mounting bolts and see if you can move the intake sideways in the castings. If not, then usually about and 1/8 to 1/4 cut off of each end is fine. |
