I know this has probably been talked about before, but if was not going to run a dry sump system and just run a full flow set up,what oil pump and cover would be the best to run in the woods. My case is already tapped for full flow.A dry sump pump would be great, but right now the cost for the whole set up is out of reach if i want to make it to the next poker run.Whatcha guys think.

Run a melling oil pump, works good for me, I never had a low pressure light come on yet, and I have been on some pretty steep hills. Ask Eric Debord for more info, he will be glad to help.

Bugpack's full flow pump and cover combo is probably one of the best out there.it is simple, all you have to do is plug the pump and install. If you go with this pump don't use the little aluminum plug they supply to block it for full flow,I always tap for a 1/4" pipe plug that way I know there is no pressure getting by.

How much does the bugpack pump cost and who carries it.I can do a dry sump set up for about $350 without a electric fan on my cooler.

I have found a tank for a dry sump system for a $100 but it only holds 6 quarts of oil.The ones at the bug shops run around $200 and hold 12 quarts.Could i run the 6 quart tank or would i burn my motor up?

I'd think the 6 qt would be better than no dry sump at all, for sure. You ought to at least get 8 qts or better into the system if you run a mesa cooler and remote oil filters.

Since Chuck is building your motor, maybe he could build you one for about the same price as your gonna pay for the 6 qt sump. They are not that difficult to build if you can weld decent. I built mine and Dakotah's, and they only leak a quart a day.  Just playin, mine dont even leak when I'm on my lid.

I left the header at Tim's for you. I forgot to give it to Chuck at D&K  . Sorry.
