Both distributors would work well, but I don't think the 019 has been made since the mid 60's. The 019 was the mechanical advance upgrade distributor before the 009 was made. Since the 019 hasn't been made for quite a while, the points, rotor, and cap are fairly difficult to get when they need repalced. When you do find them they are some "NOS Rare Part", and can be quite pricey. I would use the 009 for the availabilty of parts. |
