Tolerence is the biggest problem with anything made in China. Here in the states we hold tolerences to .0001". In China they use a pubic hair from an old whore for Micrometers and call it a day. Thats there way of F@#&ing you. |

Kyle, do mean .001 off, or .010 off. Either way, that stinks. Although I have never seen one, I have heard of CB Cranks being off by .001 to .002 too small. Any CB Crank I have ever seen being used in an engine has been spot on. I've seen a lot of EMPI's cranks, and they all were right on the money as well. Don't get discouraged, your crank may have just slipped through quality control. Even though lots of people don't like the China Cranks, they are good cranks. Like you said, it's not his fault, but I'm sure Tim will do what ever is needed to make it right. |

i can back that what Odyknuck says 100%. at work we get cups, cones, and rollers in from other plants around the world (brazil, india, CHINA, etc.) and a lot of them are shit and we have to fix them. we had roughly 300,000 cages from india that were junk that we had to fix. 3rd world countries (they're close enough to that) are exactly that, they should NOT be making precision parts if they are not properly skilled. that's my rant, haha. |
