I was going to purchase some Chromoly head studs for my 1641 that im building, but LA products didnt have any 10mm studs, but Pat up there told me just to reuse my old ones. Well i took them to school today and bead blasted them and found some of them are pitted, some worse than others, but most were pretty good. I was looking to see if you guys think i should just go ahead and use the ones i cleaned up or not?

Jeff, I have a set of 10mm chromoly standard length studs. I bought them new, installed them and they were too short for my application. I'll sell them to ya for $50 shipped. Let me know.

they should fit my set-up, mahle 87mm cylinders and mofoco .041 heads... hmm ill probably buy those off of you, ill try to let you know later today or tomorrow. thanks dave.
