I'm going to re do my 2276 . I've been running a 1.8 rabbit with constant injection, No cpu required. I know that injector bosses would have to be welded to the intake manifolds. Sealed air intake from carbs to the flufel valve (air metering valve ). Just wondering what I would have to do to the double Dells to use as throttle bodies? Guessing that I'd have to plug fuel intake and remove the floats. What else would I have to do ? Thanks.

I think you are going to get into a project that will bring head aches... The same hours wasted experimenting should be spent at a 2nd job at Lowes in the Garden section. Take that money and use it wisely. Sit up against the wall far from the titty bar stage in the dark. Trust me. No one has wasted more $$$ than me on buggies. Dave's words of wisedum. 8) :? I have a single dell on my 2180 and I refuse to do anything different. It is absolutely perfect and trouble free.

I am running Megasquirt controlled fuel injection on my 1776 and love it. Yes it can require some fabrication and learning, but is well worth the rewards. If you want fuel injection info go to shoptalk forums, feel free to pm me I would be happy to help you move into the 1980's with FI. :D

This fuel system has worked well on the Rabbit . Was a bugger starting until I reinstalled the cold start. Now just reach in and turn the key. This system has worked so well around here that guys have adapted them to other engines, eg. 2.3 l Fords.

this is what I used on my suby (just the throttle bodies). it was an uphill battle but great now. With the right fab work it would work on anything.
