The 909 cam needs Large cc eng.1.4 rockers and ported heads like drews ported S/E or S/F dual valve springs 44 or 45 carbs. The 909 has more topend power then a FK42 or 110 and more lowend power then a FK43 or 120 . I did most of the Dyno testing and runing the engs. in a buggy . The 909 drives good and makes good power . PS Drews has sold a lot of this 909 cams. But I cant tell you who has them

One of the guys I ride with runs drews cam in his ss 2500 and I must say it is very impressive. He told me it will melt his firestones on the blacktop by just "puttin' 'er to the wood".

Call me or talk to Brain Drew we are the only two people that no what the specs are of cam . The guy are not told much about the 909 cam . And they do run some of the small engs 2332 with 1.25 . I run some old scat and they do 1.45 but you have to have good springs .

When we were building my 2500 we called and asked...

Will it work on 1.4... Don't know

Will it work with k800 springs... Don't know

How much seat pressure u need... Don't know

What lifters would u run with it... Don't know

Needless to say I ain't running nothing in my motor y'all ain't giving any info about. Maybe the guy didn't know. Maybe it's top secret.

I am not an engine builder, and I am probably not the sharpest knife in the drawer but I think that cam, heads, powerband and compression ratio should all be taken into account before starting an engine build. Also Gary Davis at Davis Motorsports has been a huge help, providing knowledge and parts.
Good Luck
