I just rebuilt my Webber 2BL Progressive carb and have a major flat spot as soon as I go to take off (have to pedal it to go) even after each time I shift it falls on its face. I did not buld the motor, it is a 1500 with dual port heads, Scat intake, points dist. has bigger cam ???, I just got a electronic dist. to put in soon. Does anyone have any ideas?? |

if its popping through the carb when it does it its a fuel if not its a timming issue. probably not advancing correctly and your new distributor may take care of it. |

Check the idle jet on front side of carb toward the shroud. If it's plugged you got a flat spot. |
