Just built a 2332 Full Flowed with remote filter and oil cooler, oil pressure is out of sight. Keeps blowing the O-ring out [/color]of a FRAM PH8a or busting a line, finding a weak place. I checked my short relief spring and went back with a OEM spring, no change. Anyone have any suggestions? I plan on finding the HP1 filter but, it will not correct my problem I don't think.......SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!!!!!!!

do you have the remote filter that bolts to the oil pump itself?

High oil pressure on a fresh rebuild in not uncommon. You "must" use an HP filter and good quality lines. You will need to let it warm up for a bit before giving it RPM. What weight oil are you using? Possible you may need to switch to thinner viscosity until the motor breaks in some.

Make sure the relief piston isn't stuck in the bore. What size oil pump? What weight oil? Throw the POS Fram filter as far as you can and get a quality filter like a mobil 1 or wix. Also as previously stated,check to make sure all oil lines are hooked up correctly.

The 2332 in my woods buggy has a melling pump, full flow, remote filter and cooler and accumulator. If i dont let it warm up for about 5 mins (when its warm outside) it will blow something every time. I have blown apart coolers, filters and autometer guages if I rev it up with out warming.

if all else fails you can put a thicker gasket on your oil pump cover. you would be surprised how much that changes oil pressure.

To small of oil lines will do it to. Use at least 1/2 id lines.
