It was the nut for the all thread for the breathers sat it on the roof and must have vibrated off into the carb |

Was told heads are ok beat piston us a little still need to check other stuff today |

pistons are everywhere. but make sure you don't have a tight ring if you re use it! also! above all! I had water go down my Dodge truck 318 and it bent a rod and lowered the compression tremendously. make sure the piston comes all the way up and even.! |

had the same thing happen to one of my new race motors first race of the year a few years back. we were able to get it out through one of the intake runners between heat races so I could finish. It did end up bending a valve stem... not too bad for what it could have been
