May be main bearings or plunger. Cooler is not bad dirty but oil temp gets up to 235! Is that norm? I don't have a filter. Screen is clean. Full flow system.10W40. Reving up makes no difference. Let off gas and it returns from 0 to 5. Oil lite turns off when I let off the gas. No leaks .Just normal dirt road driving. No knocks, noises or binds. Any remedies? Temp gauge reads off the cooler. Press. is read off of pump. Msd setup. Pump wo out? Dip stick is not excessively hot. Bad gauges? |

I've seen cam bearings lose pressure but not make noise. |

Take it apart and check everything. Sounds like its just worn out. Check the lifter bores in the block too. And for gods sake PUT A DAMN OIL FILTER ON IT. |
