Im replacing the cam in my 1641 with a ENG 110. The new cam doesn't come with a gear. Do I just buy the 3 bolts and drill the rivits on my old cam to get the gear off or do I need to buy a gear to? |

Go ahead and put straight cut gears in it. |

Do I need to set those up any different then the regular gears? I noticed the kit said adjustable cam gear. No idea what that means. |

You can get them with washers to advance or retard the timing. I'd set them with the standard washer in the kit for your motor. Kits should come with 3 sets. And the gears are marked and set up the same way. |

But someone else might know a little more ab the washers. It might be better for you to advance it a lil bit |

Different colors. Black gold and silver I think. It should come with a paper that tells you what's what. Should come with lock washers and use locktite |
