I recently bought a buggy with a 2332 in it and have been having some problems . Come to find out the motor has a c20 cam in it . I have done some reading up on the cam and scat shows the rpm range is from 1,000 to 5,000 and is rated for no bigger than a 1776 motor. I dont have a tac in the buggy yet but when you take off and get on it runs good till about 4,000 to 5,000 rpms im guessing and than starts acting like its running out of gas and the motor gets hot .. I have been messing with timing and jetting . Does this cam have anything to do with my problem? What cam do I need to put in this motor im running a 5 rib and looking for a good alround power cam mostly low end .. To hill clumb.. Im looking at a FK43, FK44, or FK8 what do u think??

110 grind for low end torque and good to 6000 RPM.

A engle 110 is also a small displacement cam, it to will stop pulling around 6k rpm. Give webcam a call or look them up. They know their stuff and really made my buggy a whole new ride.

To make a good recommendation, more info is needed. What heads, carbs, exhaust and compression are uou running now? Are the heads ported? Also what rockers are you running

Whats LB.is the buggy Trans tires .IF the eng. is sond & runs good down low with stock heads .And dont wont to take the block a part I would. Set timing at 30 you need 3psi fuel & 93 otan for 9to1 com. Port the heads & intakes hi rev. springs or duals & 1.4 rockes would help with the small cam. You can run 1.4 on a c20. I like the FK 42 in a 2332 with ported heads and dual 44 carbs
