Ive got a chance too swap out my single Empi 40 for dual Empi 40's. My concerns are if they are worth the trouble, how too sync and how hard is it, and what should I look for too make sure they are good and the linkages are good?

I will be putting them on a 2110 w/ CB 44 heads and a 120 cam.

aircooled.net has a lot of good info. if you email them with all your info they will also give you a good starting point. I like my dual carbs. and don't think they are a big hassel.

They are easy to sync I had dual empire 40s on my 1915 and liked them but had a set of weber 44s on the shelf I just recently put on. When I had a single on it seemed real snappy at the throttle when I put the duals on it was smoother when accelerating plus if ya clog a idle jet your only losing the 1 cylinder instead of 2

syncing isn't the problem with most, its keeping them clean that causes most problems!

Well I was thinking that I would run a fuel filter before my pump and one on each line too the carb and then run a K&N with prefilter on each carb along with a cover too keep off all the mud. I'm going too try them out and if the dont work I'll just throw on a single intake and run one carb and keep the other as a spare.

Call me old but I thought you were going with Detroit iron? Carbs are great paper weights and make for nice sculpture.

On a more serious note a filter per fuel pump and pand post should be fine
