I have a solex pict 34 and it leaking gas from the throttle shaft, can this be fixed or is it junk now. If it can be fixed what will i need to do? I have a spare one that is missing some pieces, could i take what is missing from the leaking one and try that or will i need a new one? Thanks in advance for any advice.

that's the only part not rebuildable and usually the death of them. I always like to give my carbs a squirt of oil before riding at the butter fly bushing. Maybe some motor bike chain spray with the tube on the nozzle. Because it sets up gummy.
