Well heres my dilemma, been running 4 into 1 exhaust with stinger and wanted to change it up and try the bolt on collector with "U" bend. It's my own fault for not measuring what I already had but needless to say I ordered the 1.5" u bend collector not knowing that all this time I have been running 1 5/8"...M y question is how much is it hurting me running the 1 5/8" compared to if I were running the 1.5" that should be on it? Wish I could find someone here local that wanted to trade their 1.5" for 1 5/8" but not that many buggy owners around here really. I know the bigger primary tubes gotta be hurting my low end quite a bit, especially on my lil 1641. I don't turn near the rpm's I'd have to turn to gain anything from these bigger primaries. Would it be worth it to spend the money and get a 1.5" exhaust or should I keep what Igot? Planning on putting together a 1915 later this year and didn't know what size exhaust does best on 1915. Thanks,

If you can trade them even up OK but if you want to spend money on more performance then put it towards something else(bigger motor?). One thing that helps any exhaust is to wrap it.JMHO

It is my experience that you will not notice a difference.

I can't really afford to buy new 1.5" exhaust right now as much as I'd like to. Maybe I'll luck up and find someone wanting to step up to 1 5/8" that's got a 1.5" setup to trade
