Just kinda seeing what kinda of jets you guys are running in your webber 40 singles .... thanks ahead of time! :D

Every engine is differ. A good starting point would be 55 idles 135 mains id start there

alot of variables to consider...venturies,manifold design,size of manifold,ported heads,unshrouded valves,race gas or pump gas just to name a few.the nozzles need to be enlarged to 60 sometimes.One thing applies to almost all single carb applications,it needs to be jetted a little bit on the rich side

Buy another carb. Youll be much happier. Id guve the jetting i had on my 1915 with 40's but it wouldnt apply to your setup with a single

The last single I tuned on a 1915 had the following in it:

F7 Emul. tubes
55 Idle
130 Mains
160 Air Correction
Accel/ Pump Squirter was drilled to 70. (This is the biggest problem usually.)

I put 180 air 160 main 55 idel and I haven't takin it out yet but seems to be running ok sitting there!
