I'm starting to gather everything to add power steering, is anyone running two vbelts with a pump if so how and maybe some pics would help me figure it out. I want to make pump bracket so I can adjust tension with it but not sure if dual belts are easily doable.

Jayrod you run power steering right? Do you run one belt around alternator and pump? If so how does one belt hold up? Thanks

the pump i used is out of a geo storm, I made the mount but if you dont have the equipment you would be better off buying the mount somewhere, they have some nice ones out on the market. the pulley is a double pulley i bought from competition engineering. the website is www.cevw.com the pulley was about 100 bucks and the quality is top notch. i tried running the pump off of a single belt around the alternator but every time id hit a puddle, the belt would squeal. there is really not enough belt on that pulley to grip it. for the gear box, i used one out of a jeep Cherokee. you can get one out of a junk yard and it works pretty good. personally after having power steering after a few years, i dont know how i ever road without it.
