I have a good case that has a some slop in the lifter bores. Where can I get this case resleeved? I have heard Brothers in Ontario California and Jims Custom VW in Columbiana Ohio can do this but I have no experience with either shop. I am in NE Indiana but I am willing to ship my case. Who do you recommend?
Thanks
Kenric

Jayrod, what did the end play look like on that case? If the lifter bores are that worn I would think the thrust is been beat as well. Just a suggestion.

i sent mine to brothers in california...they do excellent work at great prices...they offer regular sleeve or sleeve with oil groove...if you buy the lifters from them (all brands available)or send them a new set they will machine sleeves to fit lifters....i went with the oil grooved sleeves with scat slr coated....quick turnaround as well.

I got my engine case back from Brothers this week. It looks great and they had it done the next day after receiving it. Thanks for the help!
