Wanna give a big thanks to Davehix, an Roy for the advice an direction to go on my new 2276 build. Got to drive it for the first time today, and all I can say is Wow, this thing is a monster  :D :D :D :D And nothing makes it better than knowing I built it all myself. Cant wait for this snow to be gone, gonna be a big difference from beating the piss outta my 1915 to go places. lol

lol I hated too, But for every bad thing I read I found similar problems with mahle. So ill hope for the best. Assuming your asking about ring gap? They come fully assembled, But yea I took everything apart , cleaned an inspected.

There fine I've put 15# boost on them at 9.5:1... Did you need to file the rings or were they ok?

Great job on the motor build. I knew you would be happy with the combination.

What did you set your cam timing to? Did you zero it? I didn't know you were going to run 11.5-1. Wow is right!
Keep good fuel in it and you should be fine. Hope you have a good transaxle! :)
