I have used the search funtion on here and have hgad no real luck. the problem is that i keep burning up coils. i kno i have the hot wire from the switch on the positive side and the dizzy wire on the negative side of the coil. i have a genarator that has a bracket welded on it to mount a one wire alternator and still turn the fan atached to the stock gen. so its puttin out 12 volts. do i need a regulator in between the switch and the coil or can you guys tell me how to wite it |

sounds like you got it right make sure your running 12v coils. |

The last one that went out was a twelve volt. How can i check the coil. i think its the coil becuase im not getting power to the dizzy. |
