110 is a really good all around choice.so far I am super pleased with my fk42 and believe it might be a better cam than the 110 for my liking.got a new motor with a fk7 in it.ran this cam for just a few rides on another motor and thought I'd try it again.hope it's gonna be what I think but who knows.you'll probably get a bunch of different answers but so far think I like the fk42 best. I am with Darrell on the Scat C-95 it can be used with the rockers you have. The 110 is not a bad option either. 2276 is a great motor. The one in my beetle has 12 years of woods riding and two years of road ridding since I moved to the WC side of the fence. I beat on that thing hard turning the crap out of it. Be sure to include a windage tray and the windage tubes if you plan to do any serious of camber climbing. If you are dry sumping it these will not be needed.

Maybe off the subject but if you dry sump it how much do it cost for the internal parts ?
I think it's a good investment if you can peice the parts together ! I know you can get the tanks for 20 to 100 bucks at the swap meets ....

It will be dry sumped. But talking to davehix and afterburnt this weekend the question came up...... Why build a 2276 and not a 2387? lol So now im rethinking things. TIme will tell, I sold my dirtbike today So its time to decide which direction im going and get moving.

I have 110 and 1.25 rockers. Make sure you use dual valve springs if you want to rev it. Mine rips, but I need some different gears or bigger motor/different gears.

Their is no replacement for displacement !

I would talk to Aaron Creech or Darrell on this site as the cam, cylinder, and displacement are a finely tuned orchestra. An engine is an air pump and given all of the parameters, tire size, gearing, all can be married so you end up with a power plant that works well all around. If you don't use a source such as a professional builder look into some of the performance engine kits a they are designed to work in concert. I think there are more options if you were building a WC since the aftermarket focuses more on newer technology. No matter the displacement just make sure you get a combination that will best suit your ultimate goals. Do this right and you will not need to go water cooled for many years to come.

To accurately pick a cam you really need to decide on EVERYTHING else in the engine. A 2276 is a great, easy to build combo that can be very reliable but as has been stated, there is no replacement for displacement.

I doubt ill ever go WC , just not really appealing to me. But lets not get this off subject. Ill have to get the specs on my heads which ive gotta pick up from my dads this weekend, then I can start deciding on the rest of this , I have looked at the scat complete kits , and others like it online, Thats how i built my 1915 and it has been a great motor. Any Opinions on that with their stroker kits? . My plan here is to try and keep as much of my 1915 together as possible so I have a spare motor, But we'll see how that goes... If I do get the kit , I have everything else ready to go except for machine work on the case.

X2 I see you have a 6 rib 31'' tires . Are the haeds ported a litte or alot what size are the valves ? What kind of gas pump or race or 50\50 ? With the 6 rib and 2276 and porded heads and 9.5to comp. and 1.25 rockers .For TQ I would run a w110 or c35 or with 1.4 rockers fk 41 or 42 . Build a 2387 and run fk 43

Think Ive got what Im gonna build all figured out, Ive been discussing it with davehix he knows how i like to ride/ drive etc...So gonna take the route we talked about last night. I cant tell what im building, wether it be 1641 or 2387 simply because i dont want anyone to know lol I started out wanting 2276 but now im not so sure.... Whatever It ends up being the combo will work a lot better than my 1915 with the 6 rib. Which doesnt do to shabby  I appreciate all the opinions and suggestions. And I have gotten yelled at every night this week for being on woodsbuggy so much reading about motors lol
