Has any one seen the tapered insert in the carb body come out with the idle air screws? Stuck on the end of it like they were over tightened . I had one on each carb do this . I put red loc tite on them and used a punch and drove them back in place . They seemed to go in some what tight and I am going to let them sit over night to set up .So do you guys think this will fix it of will I need to try something else ?

I had it on one of my brand new Weber 44's I got from CB Performance. Really pissed me off that some gorilla screwed the mixture screw in so tight at the Factory on a brand new carb. I replaced mine with a new seat as the old one probably got enlarged by the needle. It took some force gettig off. I did the same as you and used some loctite and a gentle punch to re-seat it. So far, so good.
