1915 is too big for drilled valves. You can not go bigger than a 1641 to run this option. The smaller the better, thats why I stayed with a 1300.

i forgot to ask about drilled valves in the last post i understand its a secret and all from what iv read but can somone please tell me the logic on them and will they give a 1915 more power and about howmuch also is it posible for me to send my heads to somone to get them driled ifso how much thanks tes |

It's a joke! If you drill hole in your valves your motor will run like crap and backfire thru the carb(s) and exhaust. |

Well, holy hell! I thought we were plumb out of luck with our 1641! Where can we get those valves drilled around here, Larry? Can we do it ourselves? Is a half inch bit big enough to get the power we need?

You cant get it done around here. You have to talk to a guy that hangs out at D&K, his name is Charlie. He has the only pattern jig in existence. You gotta become friends with him first, or he wont even talk to you about it. Even then it may take him awhile to decide if you are worthy or not. It took me three years! Whatever you do, dont ask him what it will cost, he will charge what he feels like. It is an art form, and who can really put a price on art??
And , by the way, you don't have to brag by mentioning your 1641, I cant help that all I could come up with was a tired old 1300.

Hmm...well maybe we could make a jig from your valves! Or did he weld your valve covers and cylinders on to the heads so it hold together better with the increase in power?
Dont cry! I had heard that it was better to have a smaller displacement when you're going with drilled valves due to the lighter pistons and thicker cylinder walls.  Is this not true? My source may not be too dependable.

Weve found something else that works better than drilling your valves,you have to drill 23 small holes in the top of each piston,this is a precision job not everybody can do it,but if you send your pistons and a blank check we may can do business,and if you can get charlie to drill your valves and run the drilled pistons it will make a 1641 pull like a 2500cc
