What size motor are you working on? Mine is a 1915 with Engle 110 and 1.25 rockers. Motor pulls all the way through and never had any problems no matter the RPM range (within reason).

I'm not working on any I was just curious in different cams that we run up here compared to the southern boys. I have a Engle TCS-20, but all the motors I have built have Engle W-110's in them.

My 2276 has an FK-43 w/1.4 rockers.

I have used all of these in the past two years in the buggy motors I have built.

Engle 110 w/1.25
Engle VZ-15 w/1.1
Engle VZ-25 w/1.1
Engle FK-8 w/1.4
2) Crower 61004 Split Duration w/1.25 (nice cam)
